Hupfer will be introducing a new generation of hygienic stainless steel furniture at this year’s Medica. The cabinets and cleaning table systems designed especially for operating theatres and central sterile services departments now allow complete cleaning of previously inaccessible recesses in furniture.
As the specialists in medical technology we are the first in the world to offer stainless steel furniture in three hygiene levels: as well as HS – previously the sole industry standard – the new, optimised H1 and H2 hygiene levels are now also available. The hygienic models are charac-terised by fully welded, seamless fabrication, with the corners rounded to a different spherical radius. There are no more gaps where secretions, blood, proteins or other liquids might penetrate, thus preventing germs from spreading. Hose cleaning is now also possible, because water cannot penetrate the new H2 hygiene generation.
Other innovations include a CSSD furniture range with colour options and an ergonomic sterile supplies basket.
