Product Spotlight: ISOBOX Food Transport Trolley

Here at Hupfer, we’re well known for creating innovative solutions to meet the needs and demands of the foodservice industry. Keeping food at a hot, cold or neutral temperature is one of the most common struggles for a variety of sectors, which is why we created the ISOBOX Food Transport Trolley.

The trolley makes it much easier to not only maintain the temperature of food, but to transport it over both long and short distances. From busy restaurants to the varied requirements of the care home, the ISOBOX has played an instrumental role in a range of settings to make life easier.

Key features of the ISOBOX

The ISOBOX Mobil Flex is perfect for transporting and dispensing meal components in GN containers or GN 1/1 trays. The ISOBOX® features optional, exchangeable modules for keeping food hot, cold or at a neutral temperature.

The trolley has a double-walled hinged door on the left or right which opens 270° and is held open when needed by magnets. This ensures high levels of flexibility when transporting hot and cooled foods, and depending on the equipment chosen, this can be done over extended periods or larger distances.

The door, rear panels and side panels are available in a range of RAL colours and the four handles installed on the corners of the unit ensure optimal handling properties. The trolley itself has double wall insulation and is a fully enclosed trolley made of aluminium sections, with a self-supporting, high-quality stainless steel frame.

Kirsch case study

Hupfer’s ISOBOX Food Transport Trolleys were chosen by the Kirsch Care Home Group. Food distribution in care homes demands a great deal of flexibility, and the care home can now satisfy the very different needs of individual residents thanks to the ISOBOX.

Food has to be kept at the right temperature, even over lengthy periods and distances. The ISOBOX is ideal for this. Cabinet compartments can be heated to 90°C, using heating units or can precool with eutectic plates or optional cooling units. The double-walled insulation of the two separate compartments gives staff the flexibility they need for transporting the food to the living area.
