Representatives from equipment dealers, kitchen designers, installers and industry sustainability leaders joined the Hupfer UK team for the company’s second annual event, which showcases Hupfer’s expertise and manufacturing capabilities.
They had the opportunity to experience Hupfer’s latest innovations across food transport, regeneration, presentation and storage solutions, and see behind the scenes on a tour of the 22,200m2 production facility.
Keynote speakers at the event included Cirque du Soleil’s Christian Lindemann, with talks on topics including ‘food concepts for new work’, digitalisation and the role of AI in catering equipment.
There was also a chance to celebrate at the Hupfer Hüttengaudi, a traditional apres-ski cabin party, before the event continued into a third day with the Hupfer Golf Cup which was won by UK guest Kyle Musk from iFour Designs and Philipp Schumacher, head of product & market management at Hupfer.
Marc Sumner, sales and marketing director for Hupfer UK, said: “The pop-up expo is a huge event and it gave us the opportunity to show some of our key partners why we’re known as the efficiency creators, with an expansive range of integrated solutions that overcome kitchen logistics challenges.
“They had the chance to try products from the energy efficient Hot and Cold plate, ask questions to our global manufacturing team and see what goes into delivering our innovative solutions.
“We’re on a journey to reinvigorate the Hupfer brand in the UK and this was another step towards strengthening our relationships with distributors so they – and their customers – can take advantage of our enhanced solutions.”
